Everything you need to support your yoga practice, including our cork yoga mat, multifunctional strap and cork block.
Our House of Bohème yoga mat is made of sustainably harvested cork and natural tree rubber. It is durable and hard-wearing, yet beautifully soft to the touch. Cork is naturally antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal, keeping your mat clean and odour-free. It is also slip-proof: the more you sweat, the stronger the grip on the cork finish.
The mat is 4mm thick, making it the perfect balance between a good amount of cushion and bounce, whilst also being lightweight and easy to carry.
Our yoga mats are not just good for you, they’re good for the planet too. Cork is harvested by hand, carefully stripping the bark from the cork oak tree without killing or damaging it. This makes every tree a renewable source of raw material. The tree is then left intact to fully regenerate its bark. In this phase, they reabsorb 3-5 times more CO2 from the air, offsetting millions of tons of carbon every year.
Natural tree rubber is made by extracting a liquid sap, using a process known as tapping, from certain types of tree. Most tree rubber comes from the Hevea brasiliensis tree, also known as the rubber tree.
Our 100% cotton adjustable strap is multifunctional; use it to carry your mat or as a yoga prop to support different postures within your yoga practice.
