Help Refugees is the charity that gives me faith in mankind. I take so much comfort in the fact that they exist, as the voice and the support for people who have been forced to leave their homes, friends and lives, but with nowhere to go.

I first took a van full of goods over to Calais 7 years ago and was lucky enough to help out in their warehouse. Seeing the sense of community they’d created, the love, the passion, has never left my mind and because of that, they’ve stolen my heart as a charity ever since.

Not only have they made a humongous difference to the refugee crisis, but they’ve also brought so much awareness to the situation and created so much compassion from people of all ages…

I’ll always remember being in the Choose Love shop a few years ago, when a little girl came in with her mum. It was her 7th birthday and as her present, she wanted to choose something (which automatically goes to someone who needs it, eg a warm blanket).

Help Refugees are literally changing the next generation.

Thank you @ChooseLove for everything you do❤️
