Palo Santo - Also known as ‘holy wood’ is a powerful clearing incense and is one of the most fragrant woods in the world. Traditionally used by the shamans and indigenous people of the Andes for it’s purifying and cleansing properties, it can be used in healing ceremonies, rituals and for smudging to cleanse energy fields and spaces. Light it up to calm you down. All of our palo santo is wild harvested from a sustainably managed forest in South America.
How to use
Sanctuary Cleanse - Spray around yourself, your home and your healing space. You may wish to take a few long, deep breaths and set an intention for your newly cleansed atmosphere.
Temple Rituals - 1. While you’re waiting for your bath to run or in the shower, take a handful and massage all over skin. Leave on for a few minutes, rinse off or sink into the bath and let the salts melt away or; 2. Place a small handful into the bath as it’s running.
Palo Santo - Light the end of an individual Palo Santo stick then blow out after 5/10 seconds.While the stick is slowly smoking, use it to instantly calm your nerves and cleanse your sanctuary and the space directly around you, or place in a heat resistant dish.
